Abstract: The expressions of estrogen receptor, progesterone receptor and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 are not only closely associated with the prognosis of breast cancer, but also can be served as targets for breast cancer therapy. Recent studies have found that androgen receptor(AR)is associated with the occurrence, development, relapse and metastasis, as well as the prognosis and outcome in breast cancer, and may be a prognostic predictor. Currently, AR in breast cancer is becoming a hot spot. In this paper, we make a preliminary discussion on relationship between AR and breast cancer.
