Diagnosis and treatment for gastric neuroendocrine tumors

Abstract: Gastric neuroendocrine tumors(G-NETs) arise in enterochromaffin-like(ECL) cells, which only account for a small part of gastric tumors. People have been less focused on them, so that the diagnosis and treatment of G-NETs are lack of acknowledged guidelines. However, with the increasing incidence, there is more deeply acknowledge in this field. In clinical, G-NETs are compromised of 4 subtypes according to differentiation and the relationship with hypergastrinemia. In the current review, we summarize the pathology, clinical characteristics, which aimed at treatment of it.
