Abstract: Long non-coding RNA(lncRNA) plays a significant role in tumor occurrence and development. Recent studies have found that lncRNA PVT1 was high expression in a wide variety of tumors(breast cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer, colon cancer, etc.) and performed various biological functions, such as competing endogenous RNAs(ceRNAs), maintaining important oncogene protein stability, participating in tumor chemotherapy drug resistance. This paper reviews progression of lncRNA PVT1 expression, biological functions, molecular mechanism in tumor from the latest articles home and abroad.
