Abstract: In the human genome, there are a large number of long noncoding RNAs(lincRNAs), and they regulate gene expression at various levels and are closely related to the development of many disease. Regulator of reprogramming long noncoding RNA(lincRNA ROR)is a newly discovered lincRNA which plays an important role in the formation of pluripotent stem cells, DNA damage, oxidative stress etc. A number of studies have shown that lincRNA ROR plays an important role in the occurence, development and treatment of tumor. This paper reviews the expression of lincRNA ROR in various tumors and the mechanism of its action in the development of tumor.

Key words: Tumor, Regulator of reprogramming long noncoding RNA (lincRNA ROR), Biological function
