BLZF1在胃癌组织中的表达及其临床意义

Expression and clinical significance of BLZF1 in human gastric cancer tissues

摘要: 目的 探讨碱性亮氨酸拉链核因子1(BLZF1)蛋白在胃癌组织中的表达及其与胃癌临床病理特征和预后的关系。方法 采用组织芯片和免疫组织化学技术检测156例胃癌及对应癌旁组织中BLZF1蛋白的表达情况,分析其表达与临床病理特征及总生存期(OS)的关系。结果 胃癌组织中BLZF1的阳性表达率为52.56%(82/156),低于癌旁组织的95.51%(149/156),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。BLZF1蛋白表达与T分期、TNM分期及分化程度均有关(P<0.05),而与年龄、性别、肿瘤大小及N分期均无关(P>0.05)。BLZF1阳性表达者的中位OS为42.5个月,长于阴性表达者的29.0个月,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。Cox多因素分析显示,T分期、肿瘤大小、TNM分期及BLZF1表达均为影响胃癌预后的独立因素。结论 BLZF1在胃癌中表达下调,且与部分临床病理特征有关,推测其表达缺失在一定程度上反映了胃癌的不良预后。

Abstract: Objective To determine the expression of basic leucine zipper nuclear factor 1(BLZF1)in gastric cancer and analyze the relationship of its expression with clinical features and prognosis. Methods The expression level of BLZF1 was detected by tissue microarray technology and immunohistochemistry in 156 cases of gastric cancer and paired adjacent normal tissues. The relationship between the expression of BLZF1 and clinical parameters were analyzed as well as overall survival(OS). Results The positive rate of BLZF1 in gastric cancer tissues was 52.56%(82/156), lower than 95.51%(149/156)of paracarcinoma tissues(P<0.05). The expression of BLZF1 was related with T stage, TNM stage and differentiation degree(P<0.05), but unrelated with age, sex, tumor size and N stage(P>0.05). The median OS for the patients with negative expression of BLZF1 was 29.0 months, shorter than 42.5 months of patients with positive expression of BLZF1(P<0.05). Multivariate analysis revealed that T stage, tumor size, TNM stage and BLZF1 expression were independent prognostic factors for gastric cancer patients. Conclusion BLZF1 is down-regulated in gastric cancer and may be related to tumor genesis and development. Loss of BLZF1 expression is associated with the poor prognosis of gastric cancer.
