Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical features, treatment and prognosis of drug-resistant gestational trophoblastic neoplasia(GTN). Methods The clinical data of 15 GTN patients was retrospectively analyzed. ResultsThe 15 cases of drug-resistant GTN were mainly treated by chemotherapy. Among them, there were 10 cases treated by chemotherapy and 5 cases treated by chemotherapy combined with operation. When treatment finished, 12 cases got serologically complete remission and 3 were partial remission, respectively. The patients were followed up for 6-117 months with 3 cases lost to follow up, and no relapse occurred or death in the other 12 cases. Conclusion The drugresistant GTN are mainly treated by chemotherapy. For those with drug-resistant lesions and abnormal serum β-human chorionic gonadotrophin, the treatment of chemotherapy combined with surgery can improve the prognosis.
