Abstract: As a potential oncogene, human pituitary tumor transforming gene(hPTTG) has been always the research foucs since it was discovered. hPTTG1 is mainly expressed in human tumors and highly expressed in a variety of tumors. Related studies have shown that hPTTG1 has the function of promoting cell transformation, angiogenesis, tumor metastasis and other biological functions. Besides, it plays an important role in tumorigenesis, occurrence, development, invasion, metastasis and recurrence of tumors. hPTTG1 has important reference value for diagnosis of tumor, and it represents potential target for gene therapy of tumor.
