Abstract: Gastric cancer(GC),as the most common malignancy,is one of the major causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. While the molecular mechanisms of GC,chemoresistance, early diagnosis and clinical outcome are still poorly understood. Recent studies have demonstrated that long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs)are closely associated with the development and progression of various cancers, especially in GC. Dysregulation of lncRNAs is closely related to GC cell proliferation, metastasis, drug resistance, tumor marker discovering and prognosis prediction. The aim of this review is to discuss current and emerging lncRNA in GC.
