Abstract: Triplenegative breast cancer(TNBC) is a heterogeneous disease. It is often characterized by the lack of specific therapeutic molecular targets and poor prognosis. There are increasing evidences about the relationship between tumorinfiltrating lymphocytes and the prognosis of TNBC. However, the distinction between different types of T lymphocytes is extremely important, because of their different roles in the tumor microenvironment. Moreover, tumor-associated macrophages have been associated with a relatively poor outcome in TNBC. In this article, we review the role of different lymphocyte infiltration in the clinical outcome of TNBC.
