Abstract: Gastric cancer is one of the malignant tumors with high mortality of digestive system. At present, the main treatment methods of gastric cancer are surgical resection, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, however, the outcome is not as good as expected. Along with the rapid development of immunology, cancer immunotherapy has become a research hotspot. Immunotherapies such as tumor vaccine and immune checkpoints targeted therapy have exhibited a promising prospect. Because of the complex pathogenesis and heterogeneity of gastric cancer, many problems still remain to be solved. Tumor microenvironment plays an important role in tumor occurrence, development and metastasis. This article reviews the research achievements, problems and prospects of tumor microenvironment and immunotherapies for gastric cancer.
